Retail Sales - Barton Creek Square Mall

Position Overview

The ideal Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and has the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in-store. This role at Nordstrom involves delivering outstanding customer service in both in-store and digital environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using various selling tools (including text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Deliver the best possible service on the customers’ terms.
• Provide honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Continuously seek fashion and product knowledge to build your expertise.
• Work with the team to keep the department customer-ready by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, implementing price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• Adapt to varied working hours and occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed.

• Compensation: $13.70 - $13.70 Hourly, with eligibility for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Commission details: Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance roles receive 3%.
