Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote

Position Overview

Humana's Digital Health Platform Innovation and Engineering team is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will perform software engineering activities across the entire stack – from database setup to back-end programming and front-end design. The work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Involved in all stages of software development including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network/hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.
• Begins to influence the department's strategy.
• Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex technical issues regarding project components independently.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and/or Vue.js
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
