Job Description

Position Overview

The Marketing Center of Excellence team is responsible for Brand Management, Marketing Technology Strategy & Solutions and Marketing Operations. The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations reports to the Director, Marketing Center of Excellence and leads a high-performing team of marketers and communication professionals. In this role, you'll drive the implementation and deployment of ongoing operational communications (both print and digital) across Commercial, Individual, and Medicare lines of business, supporting Brand & Marketing workstreams. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing operation and communication teams with cutting-edge, data-driven, digitally-sophisticated strategies.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams to align business goals, priorities, budgets, campaigns, and success metrics.
  • Utilize a broad range of communication tools (consumer engagement, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, display/digital advertising, email marketing, and more) to achieve measurable goals.
  • Develop talent to ensure business progress and continuity.
  • Collaborate with Line of Business liaisons and marketing strategists to align and measure marketing activities.
  • Optimize operational effectiveness by delivering on business needs and engaging stakeholders across departments.
  • Manage department budget, resourcing, capacity, team workload, and prioritization.
  • Identify key business issues, develop action plans, and implement solutions.
  • Build sustainable and scalable operational processes supporting the Brand & Marketing operating model.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in marketing operations with expertise in both digital marketing and print product workflows.
  • Outstanding conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a record of implementing operational processes and tools (e.g. Jira, Workfront, Print).
  • Customer-focused with a consultative approach; healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Lean/agile experience with certifications (e.g. PMP, Lean, SAFE, CSPO) is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
