Position Overview
Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within our North America Places group. In this hybrid role, you will work on dynamic land and site development projects—including hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses—across the USA. Whether you are a licensed PE or an EIT ready to advance your career, you’ll play a key role in delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
- Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required) – EIT or PE certification preferred
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
- Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
- Excellent communication and project management skills

- Compensation: Salary Range: $68,187 to $112,000
