Key Responsibilities
- Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
- Learn drawing organization and company standards.
- Perform CAD/BIM drafting for various projects to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
- Coordinate with designs of other trades (architectural, engineering/internal, and external) under senior technical guidance.
- Support design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades across diverse project types.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
- Assist engineers with field investigations, construction site visits, and project coordination meetings.
- Participate in the Engineering Development Training (EDT) program sessions and related activities.
- Attend continuing education seminars on technical and professional development topics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with graduation in Winter 2025, Spring, or Summer 2026.
- Previous engineering internship experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
- Proficient in design and calculation software, as well as the MS Office Suite.
- E.I.T. or FE certification preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this position in New York is $57,392—$86,220 USD. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience, skillsets, and competencies, and may vary based on local cost of labor.
