Principal Software Engineer (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge systems.
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• Obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance.

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior, relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience developing object-oriented software using C++ and Java.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date.
• Experience with Bamboo, Git, Gradle, JavaScript, and Docker.
• Experience with satellite ground system software including orbital mechanics.
• Experience developing software using Python.
• Background in microservices, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

• Salary: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD per year
