Job Description

Position Overview

Go Ape is seeking a dynamic and motivated brand representative for its Lums Pond location. This work from home flexible position allows occasional travel to the local Go Ape site and event attendance, while offering flexible working hours. The role focuses on increasing bookings and revenue by attending local marketing events, researching trends and partners, coordinating with media outlets and vendors, distributing course brochures, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing department and site manager to research, coordinate, and attend local marketing events to increase guest visitation.
  • Set up and tear down event equipment such as tents, tables, and displays according to marketing specifications.
  • Understand the activities offered at the local site to effectively promote the course at events or onsite.
  • Represent the Go Ape brand and culture by prioritizing Guest WOW in all interactions.
  • Distribute brochures to local businesses to create regional awareness.
  • Restock promotional materials at businesses carrying Go Ape literature to ensure materials are available to potential guests.
  • Identify new business and community partnership opportunities to drive participation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with partners involved in co-branded events and marketing opportunities.
  • Conduct local market research to identify potential partners, groups, and sales leads.
  • Submit regular reports to the site manager, marketing liaison, or sales representative detailing project progress.
  • Attend biweekly check-in meetings with the Marketing Coordinator to review progress and upcoming initiatives.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Required Qualifications

  • Communication proficiency and strong presentation/writing skills.
  • Customer/client focus with a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and meet guest participation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a marketing or sales role.
  • Experience with marketing to the local community.
