Android Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2025)

Position Overview

Join the dynamic Mobile engineering team at Glassdoor as an Android Engineering Intern. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the latest Android development technologies while working alongside seasoned engineers to build quality features for the Glassdoor app in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the Android team using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines to build and test features.
• Participate in the complete feature lifecycle from concept to production deployment.
• Adopt industry best practices and design patterns to ensure high-quality code.
• Write and maintain unit tests to uphold code quality.
• Receive mentorship and actively contribute in planning sessions and team meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mobile application development and user interface design.
• Familiarity with fundamental programming concepts.
• Curiosity about networking protocols and how mobile apps communicate with backend services.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Android development ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.
