In this role as Sr Account Executive, Mid-Market Ac, you will drive growth by qualifying, developing, and closing sales. Your work will help transform clients’ traditional processes through BILL’s innovative fintech solutions, ensuring that businesses have more time to focus on what matters most.

Location: San Jose, CA; Draper, UT; Remote. Additional service zones include San Francisco Bay Area (HQ), New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles County, Austin TX, Massachusetts, Utah, Houston TX, Florida, and North Carolina.

Salary: Zone 1: $144,300 - $173,100 USD; Zone 2: $129,900 - $155,800 USD; Zone 3: $122,600 - $147,100 USD

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals by qualifying, developing, and closing sales within Accounting and Wealth Management firms.
  • Identify client challenges and align them with BILL’s innovative solutions.
  • Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demos via web conferencing tools.
  • Proactively prospect to generate new leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach and ensure forecast accuracy by maintaining detailed CRM records.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven track record achieving sales goals in a high-volume calling environment.
  • 5+ years of software/SaaS inside sales experience.
  • Experience with proactive prospecting to generate new leads and build a strong pipeline.
  • Experience conducting sales presentations and product demos via web conferencing tools.
  • Ability to develop and execute customer-focused, consultative sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to resolve a wide range of problems in creative ways.
  • Sales experience at a tech company with a consistent record of quota attainment and/or sales awards.
  • Ability to plan and execute long-term sales strategies and maintain detailed CRM records for forecast accuracy.
  • Professional presence with confident, articulate communication skills.
  • High motivation, goal orientation, self-starting attitude with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling to CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, or in banking.
  • Industry knowledge of Accounting Firms with experience in channel selling or FinTech.
