Position Overview

Field Service Engineer - Ultrasound (Atlanta, GA). Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining equipment at customer sites while managing customer relationships and generating service revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments to address and resolve customer needs.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes, identify training gaps, and expand your skillset across multiple modalities.
  • Perform all administrative duties in accordance with Philips, State, and Federal regulations including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders (FCO), preventative maintenance (PM), installation documents, and site/service documentation.
  • Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues, ensuring timely completion of PMs, FCOs, and installation tasks.
  • Travel approximately 70% within the designated geography, with daily driving times of 1-4 hours and occasional overnight stays or air/train travel as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based) or 4+ years in electromechanical industries; experience with Ultrasound, Cath Lab, MRI, CT, and/or nuclear medicine equipment is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory, along with proficient use of necessary tools and test equipment.
  • An Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • Ability to work in various settings including an office/home office and/or hospital/healthcare environment, with flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shifts, weekends, on-call duties, and extra hours as needed.
  • Capability to safely handle radiation sources and/or radioactive materials while using all required personal protective equipment.
