Applicants must have entertainment experience and reside in Nashville, TN. We are seeking a driven and strategic Distribution & Marketing Manager to oversee the release and promotion of our film and television projects across theatrical, digital, broadcast, and streaming platforms. This role bridges creative and commercial efforts by developing distribution plans, managing delivery workflows, and executing high-impact marketing campaigns to amplify audience reach and drive viewership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive distribution plans across domestic and international markets—spanning theatrical, VOD, AVOD, SVOD, broadcast, and physical media.
- Oversee relationships with aggregators, distributors, platforms (Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) and sales agents; manage delivery timelines, technical specs, and compliance.
- Build and manage release calendars, windowing strategies, and rollouts that maximize audience engagement and revenue potential.
- Lead go-to-market campaigns for each title—including trailers, key art, social content, PR, influencer outreach, and advertising across digital and traditional media.
- Work closely with internal creative, production, legal, publicity, and post teams to ensure seamless execution and brand alignment.
- Track viewership data, campaign performance, and platform metrics; report insights and recommendations to optimize future releases.
- Support film festival submissions, promotional campaigns, and awards positioning in coordination with PR and producers.
- Oversee creation and delivery of marketing and distribution assets including metadata, subtitles, artwork, and promotional kits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in film/TV distribution, marketing, or media strategy, preferably at a studio, streamer, distributor, or agency.
- Proven track record managing multi-platform releases and/or theatrical rollouts.
- Deep understanding of the evolving film/TV landscape, release windows, and audience trends.
- Experience leading marketing campaigns for scripted content including films, series, and documentaries.
- Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
- Familiarity with technical delivery specifications, metadata formatting, QC processes, and platform guidelines.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for bold, culture-forward storytelling and alternative voices in film and television.
