Cyber Security Analyst (RMF)

Position Overview

Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Mid. This position will conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations for the RMF system reviews. The role is involved in a wide range of cybersecurity services, including network defense, data integrity, and application of security software on the Command Information Management Systems (CIMS III) contract in Colorado Springs, CO.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in response to verified cyber-attacks.
• Handle classified material incidents and direct cleanup activities.
• Complete regular situational awareness and daily reports.
• Manage and maintain network vulnerability scanning tools and perform vulnerability assessment scans as necessary.
• Provide input and artifacts as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process including accreditation.
• Utilize Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for cybersecurity management.
• Analyze and assist with DISA STIGS and STIG-Tools, HBSS, ACAS or Nessus network scanning software.
• Analyze and assess RMF controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years of related experience; OR Associate's degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience.
• Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Current Secret clearance.
