Supply Chain Field Operations – Undergrad Internship – Summer 2026

Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Field Operations Intern at Lowe’s based in Pleasant View, Tennessee, you will gain hands‐on experience in a state‐of‐the‐art distribution center. Participate in a 10‑week summer internship program (May 26th - July 31st) where you will work alongside operations leaders to support process improvement projects, learn performance metrics, and contribute to real-world supply chain initiatives that ensure safety, efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience in distribution center operations from inbound freight to outbound delivery.
• Support process improvement projects by leveraging operational performance metrics.
• Develop leadership skills by assisting supervisors and observing daily operational management.
• Learn distribution center fundamentals including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, business, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation dates: December 2026, May 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to wear equipped PPE and work a full shift with a meal break.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis tools).
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, innovative problem-solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Relevant internship or experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations is a plus.
• Experience in a leadership role at work or within a campus organization.
