Job Description
Position Overview
Dayco is seeking a highly skilled supply chain leader for the role of Supply Chain Planning Manager (SIOP) in the North America Aftermarket business. The successful candidate will lead the transformation from legacy, siloed planning to a high-velocity, concurrent planning environment by leveraging Kinaxis Maestro to improve agility, service levels, and working capital.
Location: Memphis, TN at Dayco's Memphis Distribution Facility
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kinaxis Maestro, ensuring it is the single source of truth for planning activities.
- Lead the shift from sequential planning to concurrent execution, ensuring demand changes are reflected instantly across supply and capacity plans.
- Utilize Maestro for advanced scenario modeling and AI-driven insights to enhance demand sensing and automate exception management.
- Lead the monthly SIOP cycle including Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, and Executive Financial Reconciliation.
- Align demand inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Finance with statistical forecasts to drive consensus.
- Manage production/assembly planning and material planning in partnership with Operations/Warehouse Management to address capacity constraints.
- Ensure accurate demand forecasting, analyze variances between forecast and actual demand, and adjust plans to sustain customer satisfaction.
- Review daily updates from actual customer orders and, where necessary, compare monthly/yearly plans to formulate escalation strategies with Customer Service and Sales.
- Develop rolling 12-month forecasts for suppliers aligned with production capacity and manage supplier relationships alongside material master data.
- Assess freight options and maintain stable delivery schedules to distribution centers.
- Implement ABC/XYZ analysis and multi-echelon inventory optimization to meet budget targets, while monitoring excess and obsolete inventory.
- Strictly control Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH) development for product groups.
- Establish and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory DOH, and E&O, and identify cost-saving opportunities through data-driven analysis.
- Set clear expectations, provide performance feedback, drive a cultural shift from manual workflows to system-driven planning, and support recruitment, succession planning, and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 8+ years of demand and supply planning experience within the Automotive Aftermarket and S&OP environment, with exposure to global supply chain practices.
- Education: BA or BS in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Qualifications: Broad knowledge of Supply Chain & Inventory Planning and S&OP, including experience with APICS global standards.
- Proven leadership abilities with clear communication skills and a track record in performance management and problem resolution.
- Critical thinker and strategic planner with a continuous improvement mindset and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Highly organized and adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, including MM/PP Key User responsibilities and advanced Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, APICS, CPF, or Lean Six Sigma.
