Wind Technician III (Mammoth Plains) - Full-time

Position Overview

NextEra Energy Resources, one of America’s largest wholesale electricity generators, invites you to join as a Wind Technician III (Mammoth Plains) at NextEra Energy. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and optimal performance of wind farm operations through maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on wind turbine components – a position critical to sustaining long-term reliability and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and optimal wind farm operations by performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines.
• Implement Operation Safety Policy and comply with OSHA regulations while promoting an unparalleled safety culture.
• Participate in Business Lean Six Sigma processes and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Recruit, train, and develop technicians, and support site management with timely safety, environmental, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize planned and unplanned maintenance and ensure excellent customer representation.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0+ years of relevant experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet
• Successful completion of a Post-Offer Functional Capacity Evaluation
