Position Overview
Bring your passion and experience to the Schilling-verse! Schilling Cider is looking for an East Bay/North Bay Area Sales Representative (AKA Beverage Champion!) to join our growing Sales team. In this role, you will execute sales strategies in both off‐ and on‑premise accounts by growing market share through product distribution, creative display execution, and engaging promotions. With roughly 90% field time across the East Bay, Sonoma County, and North Bay, you will leverage your passion for cider and strong interpersonal skills to forge strategic relationships and represent our brand at events. Founded in 2012 and now the second largest cider producer in the US, Schilling Cider prides itself on a fun, creative, and growth-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the Schilling sales plan to grow East Bay, North Bay, and Sonoma County markets.
- Collaborate with the CA Senior Director of Sales to build and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans aligning with annual market goals.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retailers.
- Represent Schilling Cider at festivals, dinners, tastings, and local events.
- Increase distribution by educating retailers, restaurateurs, and consumers on our portfolio while ensuring proper merchandising and display execution.
- Pursue new business opportunities and manage existing accounts to maximize market share and shelf visibility.
- Coordinate events, promotions, and monthly chain account opportunities including POS support and merchandising.
- Compile detailed reports on account activities, market trends, and sales performance using tools like KARMA, VIP, Nielsen, and IRI.
- Maintain a current business calendar and communicate effectively with distributor partners and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Lead by example, take initiative, and demonstrate a true entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent sales, communication, and presentation skills.
- Energetic, outgoing, organized, and a motivated problem solver who is passionate about craft cider and knowledgeable about the local market.
- Willingness to travel multiple times per year and a desire to create a long-term career at Schilling Cider (experience with Golden Brands is a plus).
- Must be 21+ years of age, fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (with booster), and currently reside in or be within commuting distance to the East Bay/North Bay.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and comfort with mobile technology and MS suite.
- Ability to handle 30lb cases, team lift kegs, and occasionally work nights and weekends.
