As part of JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) – which integrates Mission Critical, Advanced Industries, and Industrial & Manufacturing – you will join a diverse team working on cutting‐edge construction projects in Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor sectors. In this role, as a M/E Engineer 3, you will complete increasingly complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities in support of JE Dunn’s strategic vision and core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor others and actively contribute to a safe, quality-focused, and inclusive work environment.
  • Complete routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities and assist with more complex tasks.
  • Develop budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic design information with automated estimating systems.
  • Review mechanical and electrical options during the preconstruction process and perform systems and bid analysis.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work, sequencing requirements, scheduling input, and constructability review reports.
  • Perform job inspections to ensure quality specifications are met, and review shop drawings/submittals prior to design submission.
  • Support the commissioning process by creating pre-functional checklists, testing procedures, and verifying functional testing.
  • Provide mentoring to less experienced team members and develop innovative M/E tools to continuously improve processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Intermediate) and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, and familiarity with JE Dunn’s M/E tools and software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or a related field (Required).
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction and/or engineering experience (Preferred).
