This position reports jointly to the property's Director of Sales and Marketing and works closely with the Atelier Ace Brand team as an extension of the brand. The Marketing & Community Manager will focus on multi-channel marketing initiatives, partnerships, programming, and community engagement, driving brand awareness and guest conversion across strategic campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively create and manage quarterly property marketing goals, integrated strategy, plans and calendars to expand brand awareness, drive community engagement, and increase room bookings.
  • Create and execute a strong content and organic/paid social media strategy, including an editorial calendar spanning property websites, social channels, advertising, and email communications.
  • Curate an event marketing strategy mapped to quarterly goals by combining local programming with strategic brand partnerships to boost market engagement and affinity.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential partners that add cultural value, increase market visibility, and attract new audiences.
  • Write and negotiate agreements with partners, including barter agreements, to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with F&B teams to drive traffic to property outlets through both organic and paid channels.
  • Leverage data to optimize the customer journey, supporting guest acquisition and loyalty.
  • Work with digital agency partners on performance marketing strategies, including budgets, briefs, and creative direction.
  • Manage property briefs for the creation of digital and physical marketing assets, ensuring clear and effective messaging aligned with brand values.
  • Lead on-site production for major event activations, coordinating support and working with the events team to establish recurring programming and music events.
  • Manage the allocated marketing and Music & Entertainment budget in collaboration with the property DOSM.
  • Communicate quarterly marketing initiatives and programming calendars to Highgate Marketing and agency partners in a timely manner for media support.
  • Coordinate with the Highgate Marketing team to handle media requests, on-property media tours, and photo shoots.
  • Maintain a roster of influential figures, brand ambassadors, and content creators, identifying hosting opportunities according to quarterly goals.
  • Own monthly reporting on marketing plans, key campaigns, and KPIs to leadership and the broader organization.
  • Manage necessary website updates to ensure accurate information and create event pages for all programming initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 3 years’ experience in Marketing and Communications (hospitality industry experience is essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for individual hotels, including ROI/KPI metrics.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with proficiency in programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts (e.g., General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Revenue, Regional Teams, Media Representatives, Public Relations firms).
  • Strong creative mindset and ability to organize exclusive events.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and content creation using tools such as Shortstack, Offerpop, Hootsuite, and Wordpress.
  • Ability to deliver compelling print and collateral marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in working quickly and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Adherence to Highgate Hotel Standards regarding attendance, personal appearance, and grooming.
  • Ability to comply with safety regulations and support efficient hotel operations.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems while maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as requested by management.
