Job Description
SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
A Senior Social Media Specialist at Orchard will be responsible for leading social strategy across clients in various industries, inclusive of paid, organic, and influencer tactics that align with client-specific goals and KPIs. The Senior Social Media Specialist would also support campaign management day to day and work closely with the media and analytics departments in alignment on cross-channel strategies. This position requires a strong knowledge of social media platforms and strategies and the role they play in multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has a passion for digital marketing strategy and emerging trends within the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategize, plan, implement, and monitor both organic and paid social media campaigns
- Support organic social media posting and scheduling using both scheduling platforms
- Assist content team in creation and curation of organic social media content
- Lead and/or assist in planning and budgeting recommendations based on client goals and objectives
- Manage and maintain social media platforms and profiles for a variety of clients, including but not limited to B2B, B2C, retail, etc.
- Analyze and provide performance insights and recommendations on a monthly and/or quarterly cadence to maximize results and align to overall marketing goals
- Advise on brand voice and community management across clients/brands
- Monitor scheduling platforms (including but not limited to Meta Business Suite, Sprinklr, Later.com) and native social platform features
- Manage social media advertising budgets and document to align with finance team needs
- Lead the creation and implementation of social best practices, trends, changes that affect day-to-day business (i.e., creative requirement changes, platform enhancements or optimizations, new features, etc.)
- Research and navigate social platforms to identify influencer/partnership opportunities
- Expertise on all major social media platforms (i.e., Meta, TikTok, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong experience and understanding of top social media platforms and their native features (Including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Intermediate-level MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (alternatively, Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs)
- Experience and/or strong interest in managing a direct report or small team
- Social media, digital marketing, or public relations education required
- Minimum of 5 years of social media management experience
