Position Overview

ICON International is currently seeking an entry-level, self-starter for our Fort Lauderdale, FL Office. In this role as a Local Media Investment Associate, you will identify local audiences for advertisers across various advertising platforms and learn negotiation techniques. Our team embraces new ideas, supports career development, and values collaborative efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify local audiences for advertisers across various platforms.
• Learn and apply negotiation techniques and strategies.
• Initiate phone conversations with outside media vendors.
• Collaborate with team members to support innovative initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Adaptable individual skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate work.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Skilled at handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
• Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
• Adept at initiating phone conversations with outside media vendors.
• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Intermediate math and numeracy skills are crucial.
• 4-year college degree required.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
