Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy retail location in Fort Worth, Texas, US. This critical role involves leading a team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of retail best practices, and a passion for creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of retail associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is delivered at all times by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and visual merchandising to maximize product appeal and minimize loss.
  • Manage store opening and closing procedures, ensuring security and adherence to company policies.
  • Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
  • Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards to create an attractive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Analyze sales reports and store performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and provide feedback.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the company's values and ensuring a positive brand image.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales principles, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
