Job Description

Position Overview

The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period is November-April (subject to changes due to weather, project needs, or funding). Anticipated Entry on Duty: November 2, 2025.

Required Qualifications

  • All qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement (08/12/2025), unless otherwise stated.
  • Credit is given for all appropriate qualifying experience. Your resume MUST clearly indicate duties, dates, and hours worked (40+ hours per week or pro-rated if part-time).
  • Selective Factor: Must demonstrate typing proficiency of 40 words per minute.
  • To qualify at the GS-5 grade level, you must meet one of the following:
    • EXPERIENCE: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level with clear documentation of hours per week.
    • EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least four years of education beyond high school (120 semester or 180 quarter hours) with transcripts.
    • A combination of education and experience, where education in excess of the first 60 semester hours counts toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
  • Volunteer experience (including National Service programs) is considered for qualifying experience.
  • ICTAP/CTAP: Current or former displaced Federal individuals with priority selection rights must be well qualified per OPM standards.
  • Resume guidelines: Limit your resume to no more than 2 pages; only the resume submitted under "Resume" will be considered.
  • EDUCATION Documentation: Submit legible transcripts from an accredited institution. For foreign education, a credential evaluation is required to demonstrate U.S. equivalency.
