Position Overview
Principal Associate, Project Manager- Marketing – As a Principal, Project Manager at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Client Management teams with developing campaigns, marketing collateral, business presentations, and pitch decks
- Serve as a contact for vendor management and marketing agency partnerships
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external partners, including creating written reports, executive summaries, and communication materials to support sales initiatives
- Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company
- Manage programs and portfolios for change initiatives that have been prioritized by the organization
- Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate or escalate as needed
- Plan, design, and manage project plans to ensure delivery through feasibility, design, planning and implementation phases
- Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation
- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
- Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments and alignment on intent
- Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes
- Exhibit a proven track record of project management by quickly putting structures in place to manage the work
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills essential for interacting with stakeholders across all levels
- Adapt with organizational agility to changing demands
- Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
- At least 2 years of Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management or Relationship Management
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: Chicago, IL: $106,700 - $121,700; Riverwoods, IL: $106,700 - $121,700; for other locations, salary will be determined based on the applicable range and reflected in the offer letter
- Compensation: This role is eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives
