Position Overview

Through the new Acadomi program, recent college graduates will receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities in the IT staffing industry. StartingSEPT 3RD, candidates will undergo an immersive 3‑month training program working full‑time with seasoned recruiters and account executives, laying the foundation for a successful career in technical recruiting. After the program, you may join our team in Atlanta, Charlotte, DC, Detroit, or Dallas.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in an informative 3‑month training program with experienced recruiters and account executives.
- Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
- Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business.
- Learn Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually transition into a Technical Recruiter role.
- Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates both actively and passively.
- Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates’ technical experience for job openings.
- Format resume and submittal packages to highlight candidates’ top skills for client review.
- Prepare candidates for phone and in‑person interviews through in‑depth discussions on potential questions and scenarios.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for both the consultant and client.
- Engage in follow‑up meetings (coffees, etc.) to ensure candidate satisfaction and success.
- Meet minimum weekly metrics, including number of phone interviews and job submittals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
