Position Overview
We are the largest physiatry-owned group expanding in the Tampa, FL area. This Medical Director Position is full time and can make 400k+ while providing a mix of rehab and pain consults—including trigger point and joint injections. Medrina is the nation’s largest physiatry group, a doctor-owned and operated organization committed to improving patient outcomes by infusing rehabilitative expertise into skilled nursing facilities, rehab hospitals, and unified clinician teams. Streamline operations, ensure compliance, and spend more time doing what you do best—caring for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and streamline operational processes to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Deliver a combination of rehab and pain consults, including trigger point and joint injections.
- Collaborate within a unified community of physicians, clinicians, SNFs, and IRFs to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work for prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting while attending to patients and computer tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in environments that may expose you to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks), and chemical hazards.
- Must wear the required PPE as per company or facility guidelines and comply with facility vaccination requirements.
