Key Responsibilities

• Assume the role of Market Medical Director to lead market-level clinical meetings including weekly physician meetings and reviews of currently/recently hospitalized patients as well as those at risk for clinical deterioration.
• Support care teams by teaching best practices related to daily huddles, telehealth, walk-in visits, hospital follow-up, and patient experience to ensure access to high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the corporate team and leadership from other markets to share best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical operations.
• Provide strategic input into network development, specialty referrals, documentation and accurate coding, quality improvement (including HEDIS measures), utilization management, transitional care, case management, clinical compliance, policy development, and patient engagement initiatives.
• Drive a collaborative and accountable culture by effectively communicating the impact of our care model and ensuring all staff take pride in improving the lives of our patients.
