Material Review Board Engineer - Boeing job at Belcan. San Antonio, TX.

A Material Review Board Engineer job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in San Antonio, TX. There are currently full-time/direct opportunities as well as contract opportunities available. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and experience in Material Review Board substantiation for on Boeing aircraft products. In this job your primary responsibility will be reviewing nonconforming conditions and determining acceptability and/or repairability. You will be expected to train and mentor other engineers and facilitate timely MRB certification for yourself and others on the team.

Job Duties:

  • Formulate, analyze, substantiate, and document dispositions for production non-conformances
  • Utilize skills in applying systems-thinking to improve producibility of hardware and in resolution of production problems
  • Possesses the ability to investigate for root cause and recommend resolution to design discrepancies
  • Maintain strong communication with internal project team and customer
  • Helps solve problems that would affect cost, schedule, and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
  • Fixed wing aircraft program experience
  • Understanding of aircraft metallic / composite structures analysis, manufacturing processes and materials
  • Experience with Boeing Stress analysis tools, CATIA, ENOVIA and IVT

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • MRB Experience on Boeing 747 Program
  • Currently holds MRB Delegated Authority from Boeing or has held within the last 2 years

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $90,000 to $200,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
