Job Description

Position Overview

This is a Full Remote job available from the United States, Missouri. The position is based near 1800 Reynolds Ave, Kansas City, Missouri 64120, United States of America. Under the direction of the department manager or supervisor, the candidate will maintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems. The role involves network administration, server management, end user management, and overseeing software licensing, maintenance agreements, data security standards, and surveillance for the Technical Center and related entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely incident resolution and maintain excellent rapport with team members.
  • Troubleshoot software on-demand to meet business needs.
  • Update documentation and maintain the knowledge base.
  • Utilize Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and multiple ticketing systems.
  • Manage network administration including physical infrastructure and software management.
  • Set up and deploy office equipment such as PCs, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
  • Resolve risks and vulnerabilities identified by U-Haul's data security team.
  • Interact with vendors for equipment and software purchases.
  • Create and document How-To guides related to IT for team members.
  • Develop and adapt PowerShell scripts for automation and imaging.
  • Maintain security cameras and server systems.
  • Troubleshoot VoIP hardware and software.
  • Act as the point of contact for Midtown IT escalations.
  • Review and archive required surveillance videos.
  • Assemble and disassemble computing software as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Desired CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Knowledge of virtualization software.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and experience with Windows 10 and 11.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • At least 1 year of Helpdesk experience.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
