On Site Entry Level Graphic Designer Jobs

Job Overview:

CityCheers is seeking a motivated and creative Entry-Level Graphic Designer to join our team. This position will focus on designing visually appealing app listings for venues featured on the CityCheers SuperApp. You’ll work closely with the marketing and content teams to create designs that reflect our brand and enhance the user experience within the app.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and update app listings for venues, ensuring consistency with the CityCheers brand.
• Create visually engaging images and graphics for venue profiles, promotions, and event listings.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all in-app visuals align with promotional strategies and brand guidelines.
• Assist in the design of other digital assets, including banners, icons, and promotional images for the app.
• Follow design briefs and deadlines, incorporating feedback from team members.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We are looking for someone who is eager to apply their design education in a real-world setting and grow within the role.
• Design Software Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of these tools will be used daily to create in-app designs and digital graphics, but we are open to candidates who have experience with other software and are willing to learn.
• Design Understanding: A basic understanding of design principles such as composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Creativity & Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
• Whether it's refreshing existing graphics or designing new ones, you will play a role in shaping the app's visual identity.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work with others and take direction while also offering your own creative input.
• You'll be collaborating closely with the marketing and content teams, taking feedback, and refining designs to meet the needs of the venues.
• Willingness to Learn: A passion for learning and growing as a designer, with an interest in keeping up with the latest design trends.
• As an entry-level designer, we understand you may not know everything right away. We're looking for someone who is excited to learn and evolve their skills in a collaborative environment.
